Digital dental x-rays – X-rays produced by this sensor system provide superior diagnostics image quality at a much lower radiation level than traditional film exposure techniques.
VELscope® florescense visualization system is a new hand-held device that allows the dentist and the hygienists to detect any abnormal oral tissues. It is an adjunct to the traditional oral examination.
The ezlaze® diode soft tissue laser allows Dr. Koot and the hygienists to better treat periodontal (gum) pockets and help heal canker sores and herpetic lesions. Diode lasers are used at very low and safe power settings to remove diseased tissues while leaving healthy tissue alone and killing bacteria in the periodontal (gum) pocket.
